According to the 10th Amendment, States have the right and authority over all matters not expressly granted to the Federal government or restricted from the States by the Constitution.
I firmly believe, and will uphold, that we as States need to exercise every single one of these rights every time an opportunity presents itself.
One such way we can strengthen States rights is with the repeal of the 17th Amendment which would put the power to elect US Senators back in to the hands of the State legislatures, thus affording both States and citizens the true check and balance of power intended by our forefathers
